Grüner Veltliner
This light, refreshing and distinctive wine was made at an 800 year old, family owned winery. This is a perfect summer wine!
Cultivated on loess soil, from the the famous 1000-year old wine city Krems on the river Danube. Passion fruit, a hint of thyme.
Another wonderful Grüner Veltliner. This one is grown on primary rock soil. Mandarin and apricot nuances, pears on the finish.
An excellent, late harvest wine.Rich but dry with only 3 g/l rest sugar. Slightly more subtle with warm and spicy flavors of pear and herbal notes. (The name means "November harvest).

Small berries from over 40 year old vines give this wine its name and character. Winner of many local awards and official wine of the county exhibition of Niederösterreich. The name stands for "old vines".
2005 Anton Zöhrer Grüner Veltliner “Urknall”
Grown on old vines, half located on primary, half on loess soil.
Clean and powerful, with nuances of exotic fruit and pepper. ("Urknall"
is the German word for "Big Bang").
Berries from a reserved vineyard are vinified in acacia barrels. Full-bodied and intense from the famous Kamptal region. "Mellow richness from luscious peach, papaya, mango and tart lime flavors as well as a wave of fresh acidity to perk things up". (The San Francisco Chronicle).

Austrian Riesling
Well balanced with ripe peach flavors and hints of grapefruit. Very dry (3.5 g/l rest sugar).

Aromatic nose of sweet apricots with surprisingly dry finish. Perfect with spicy and Asian food.
A late harvest wine, full bodied and bone-dry with only 3 g/l rest sugar. Austrian "salon wine" designation.

This wine was made on the estate of the mayor of Mönchhof, a village in the Burgenland province east of Vienna. This is Austria's version of Pinot Blanc, a characterful wine with well-balanced acidity and aromas reminiscent of nuts and almonds. Hand harvested, estate bottled. Made from organically grown grapes.
RED WINES
Closely related to Pinot Noir, this St. Laurent has wonderful plum and cherry aromas, round tannins and exceptional aging potential. Made from organically grown grapes. Hand harvested, estate bottled.

A deep, dark red with typical velvety hints of cherry and berries, delicate
spice and soft tannins. The perfect wine for barbecues, turkey feasts,

2004 Wachter-Wiesler Zweigelt
With velvety, full bodied texture, the characteristic cherry note and
a touch of pepper, this wine’s pronounced fruity acidity guarantees
an extraordinary drinking experience.

This stellar red comes from 20 year old vines. It has a bold and spicy character and is delicious now but will develop its full potential after a couple of years of cellaring in the bottle. "Beef bouillon, compote and vailla flavors give this an up-front appeal. Toches of mint chocolate on the finish." (Wine Spectator).

Must from Austria’s top three red grapes, Blaufränkisch, St. Laurent and Zweigelt was kept in mostly new oak barrels for 14 months. Soft tannins and hints of dark chocolate. Only 1300 bottles made!
A cuvée which combines and enhances Blaufränkisch with small parts of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Zweigelt which were vinified in small oak barrels. Winner of many awards.

The shipping method depends on the size of your order and your location. Please feel free to contact us for details! We will be happy to work out the best possible solution.
In general, larger orders are shipped by truck directly from the warehouse. If you prefer, we can also arrange a personal pickup at our facilities in West Los Angeles and in North Hollywood.
Smaller orders can be shipped by Fedex Ground. An adult signature is required. Bottles are packaged in a styrofoam inner container.
For orders of individual bottles, there is a $6 per bottle maximum charge for packaging and shipping within California. There is a mimimum order of three bottles per shipment.
